In this blog let’s discuss how a STUBBORN stakeholder was angry at me, and turned happier at the end.

Let’s define a stubborn stakeholder

A Stubborn stakeholder can be:

  1. an end customer, who got the wrong color t-shirt delivered, now waiting on the right order
  2. a teammate, who’s is waiting on a deliverable from you and doesn’t go back on the deadline
  3. a teammate, who is not helping you when you need it because she’s busy

or other such people.

Personally, I faced situation-1 and situation-3 in my life.

In this blog let’s discuss situation-1 primarily because that’s more complicated. Though I was not the PM here this is a more complicated situation than what I faced as a PM.

The stubbornness of the stakeholder comes because he could be at the losing end of the transaction. It is NOT A BAD thing.

Situation-1: End customer waiting on return

A brief context

this was during covid wave-1, we are a travel startup and started a fashion startup to earn some revenue.

The customer ordered a t-shirt, but due to some color selection issues on the website, a wrong…
